Johanna Zijderveld

Research interests

My main research interest is in Topology in Condensed Matter systems. I am interested in using both analytical and numerical tools to study topological phenomena in a variety of systems. Topologically non-trivial quantum condensed matter systems offer both practical promises in the form of use in future Quantum Computing as well as being fundamentally interesting. In my research I would like to contribute to the development of this field and thereby further our understanding of topological matter.
